Soccer news

National Soccer News:

• RONALDINIO HAD THE FLU!!

• David Beckham is on AC Milan instead of LA Galaxy! AC Milan has Ronaldinio, Kaka, and other good players. AC Milan is WAAAAY better than LA Galaxy.
  

• Manchester United beat Chelsey 3 to 0!!!!!! They're both REALLY good teams, and Man. United beat Chelsey 3 to 0! They didn't score ONE GOAL!! Jeez, Chelsey! Come on!

Our soccer:

• Hannah and I are doing indoor soccer on the same team!! We're on a 9-12 year old girls team. There aren't a lot of twelve year olds, so it's fun to be the oldest. Hannah got to play goalie!!!

• ODP (Olympic Development Program) is what three of my friends (Sarah, Paige, and Campy) and I are doing every morning at 8 AM. It's like soccer training stuff where we practice moves and things. The only problem with that is the time. 8:00 AM isn't bad, except when you have to drive about an hour and 15 min. except when it's snowy when it's an hour and a half, so we have to wake up at like 6 in the morning!!! :-( But it's in an indoor dome that's mostly cold until you start running, but it's like being inside a bubble-wrap bubble!!! ODP ROOCKS!!

Blind people visit

we had an assembly at school today about blind people. this blind lady had a really cute golden retriever named Bingo!!!! Bingo could respond to voice command like "find door" and "find another door" and "find stairs" and different directions and if she was about to run into a wall or something then Bingo would maneuver her around the stuff!!! The lady had been blind all her life, but could see some stuff. The guy who was there hadn't been blind his whole life. When he was twenty-five, the doctor dudes said that he was going to be fully blind by the time in three years if he didn't do this laser-treatment thingy. So he did the laser-treatment thingy, but in SEVENTEEN MONTHS he became fully blind. He told us to close our eyes because he was going to show us how you hear a lot when you're blind. We did. After a few minutes he screamed BOO really loud. We opened our eyes, and he said that that's why it's so different to be blind, because they can't just open their eyes. it was an AMAZING assembly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

christmas tree removal process

We got our Christmas tree out of the house today!! Yaaaay we can see our front window now!! Dad just picked it up and shoved it out of our door. It took a long time to pick up the evil little needles that were sprayed.
